Welcome
If I were called in
‘Water’ (1954), The Whitsun Weddings by Philip Larkin
to construct a religion
I should make use of water
A ‘human geography’ best describes my motivations for making landscape art. Drawn to base elements and life processes of the natural world, I seek out connections ‘of place’ on topics relating to the human condition.
I find myself returning to the theme of water and time, its physical properties, recyclable states and culture. From this basis I explore ideas of balance, equilibrium and threshold in local environments.
